Saying that he’ll definitely get around to it, Steve Diamond indicated that winning his wife back was four items down on his to-do list.
“Look, these days, you have to prioritize your time,” said Diamond, leafing through his list. “All these things are important—mowing the lawn, resolving years of festering emotional issues with my estranged wife Charlotte, getting my oil checked. It’s just that some come before some others.”
Diamond, an accountant at Fusion Software Analytics, reported that any day now he would get around to some of the issues towards the bottom of the list, right after he cleans out the garage.
“Oh yeah, Dad’s been meaning to get Mom back,” said Terry Diamond, Steve Diamond’s son. “He’s just been saying he has to take his suit to the dry cleaners first.”
At press time, Diamond was found adding “fix abandonment issues” as the fifth item on his to-do list.
