Warwick resident Shauna Maxwell, who has recently started watching “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” is still in the process of deciding which characters in the Netflix sitcom she wants to have sex with each other.
“My first thought was that Kimmy and Titus should fuck,” said Maxwell, who usually gives shows a few episodes before deciding which fictional people she thinks should have implied sex. “But that felt too obvious. Right now I’m thinking Kimmy and Jane Krakowski’s character could be kind of cool to see. I hear Jon Hamm comes in later in the season, so I want to keep my options open.”
For Maxwell, deciding which fictional couplings to invest emotionally in is a balance of careful analysis and trusting her gut. “I’ve been burned before,” said Maxwell, mentioning that the only reason she kept watching “Parks and Rec” was with the hope that Aziz Ansari’s and Amy Poehler’s characters would at least make out. “You’ve got to follow your heart, but at the same time, don’t get caught up in anything that’s going to leave you disappointed. Sometimes the right characters don’t end up fucking each other, and you have to deal with that.”
At press time, Maxwell was falling in love with the idea of the guy who sings in the theme song hooking up with one of the other girls from the bunker, but not before season three.
