Girl Sues University For Listing Her as "a Broad" this Past Semester

Published Friday, April 27th, 2007

A scandal of epic proportions has unfolded over the past few days since Sandra Richard-son '08 announced her plans to file charges of sexual harassment against the University. She has reportedly taken offense at her official student status from this past semester, which listed her as "a broad."

An indignant Richardson explained to reporters that she was deeply wounded at the idea that such slander would be leveled at her while she was studying in Amsterdam for the semester and unable to defend herself.

"I'm not a broad," she confidently told reporters.

When asked why she was so sure, Richardson pointed to her respectful demeanor and modest tastes. One source, however, has claimed that she likes bawdy music and has been known to make ribald jokes.

This is not the first time that Richardson has had to deal with an attack on her reputation. She told reporters of an incident from the third grade when "Becky Andrews spread a rumor that [Richardson] liked to pick [her] nose and then eat the boogies."

Richardson angrily explained that this was almost entirely untrue and she felt she had been justified in coloring all over Becky's nametag.

When asked if she would resort to similar measures if the lawsuit failed, Richardson ominously stated that "Ruth had better hope people can recognize her with a shrouded nametag." She added that the hypothetical colored nametag would still be pretty due to her good taste and tact.
