Speaking to a number of prospective Class of 2015 students in Sayles Hall this past weekend, President Ruth Simmons made her stance on posers clear: she fucking hates them.
Simmons' distrust and animosity toward posers is common knowledge on campus. She has frequently been spotted roaming around Thayer casting judgmental glances at the skateboard-wielding middle school students who "probably don't even know how to pop a goddam ollie." She's also been caught staring down anyone trying to be the first female African-American president in the Ivy League. Simmons asserted, "It's been done, and damn well, if I may be so bold."
Simmons also noted, "It's time we got together and told those kids who live just outside of San Francisco that they can't pretend like they fucking know what city life is like."
"She's being a great role model for all of us who can't stand these fucking posers," Jenna Trobolsky '12 said. "Like there's this group of kids who sits in front of me in Neuro. They pretend like they don't care about what's going on in class but it's like, 'you're not an athlete, so obviously you're not brain dead.' It's just fucking annoying."
