Genetics researcher Cheryl Kohn chooses to believe that everyone on Earth has at least a little bit of God’s DNA hidden somewhere in their genetic code. Kohn thinks that it would be nice if that particular gene is the one that makes people smile.
“It just seems like something He would do,” said Kohn, noting that even bad people must have at least a little in common with God on some cellular level.
New research from Hawaii Pacific University suggests that, despite sea water’s unpleasant taste and lack of artificial flavoring, it is apparently not a disgusting thing to drink if you’re a fish.
“It’s counterintuitive,” explained lead researcher Pat Silver.
In an attempt to make the ocean just a little bit smaller, a team of divers led by the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) undertook a mission last month to investigate new, unexplored regions of the ocean as well as new, unexplored regions of human sexuality.
