After eating the little chocolate square designated for December 6th, area man Harold Tobin began eyeing up the piece of advent calendar chocolate set aside for tomorrow.
“I guess I could just eat another one now,” Tobin said, hesitating over the cardboard flap concealing the December 7th chocolate. “But wait, then I won’t have a piece of chocolate to eat tomorrow. There’s an order to these for a reason.”
Tobin reportedly continued struggling to restrain his desire for another piece. “They just make these chocolates so small,” he added, starting to talk himself into eating a chocolate piece from some later day in December like the 14th or the 23rd. “One just isn’t enough. I could easily eat a week’s worth of advent calendar chocolates right now.”
At press time, Tobin had to replace his now-empty chocolate advent calendar with a new one.
