Students across campus have reported that The Brown Daily Herald clearly leaves every paper until the night before it’s due.
“God, it’s so painfully obvious that this was rushed together last night,” said BDH reader Medhi Tahir, leafing through a copy of the campus paper and shaking his head at the occasional typo. “You can tell right away that they didn’t start putting this together until like 5:00 PM yesterday. It’s like this with all their papers. Why don’t they ever learn to budget their time better?”
Despite the BDH’s glaring attempts to make their papers look like they put a lot of work in ahead of time, sources report that every paper the BDH publishes looks like they didn’t finish editing it until right before they submitted it to the printing press at 3:00 AM.
“It’s honestly kind of sad how noticeable it is that they squeezed almost all the work on this paper into just one night,” Tahir continued, certain that the BDH staff stayed up all night just to scrap together this shoddy paper. “I mean, they only managed to get like three sources for this article here, and they totally just ran over to the Main Green yesterday to snap this picture. It’s readily apparent from just one glance at this paper that they didn’t even finish writing half of this stuff until late last night.”
At press time, The Brown Noser reportedly started working on each of its papers a whole month before the due date, and the effort really showed.
