Butterflies And Moths Must Absolutely Hate Each Other

Published Friday, December 4th, 2015

Citing slight but significant differences that probably place the two winged insect classes at constant odds, sources report that butterflies and moths must absolutely hate each other’s guts.

“They definitely hate each other,” said butterfly sanctuary patron Duane James as a butterfly landed delicately on his arm. “Moths are the bad boys and butterflies are the pretty boys and they wanna kill each other. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.”

Sources confirm that most people love butterflies for their beautiful patterned wings and hate moths for eating clothes, something that sources agree must piss moths off so much and make them resent butterflies.

“Butterflies definitely think that all moths are disgusting lowlifes,” said James, setting mothballs at the foot of his closet. “But moths think butterflies are pompous jerk-offs that need to get their asses handed to them. Filthy moths… Arrogant butterflies… They despise each other!”

Sources also reported that moths and butterflies must both think birds are enormous.
