Local Disney mom Daisy Pines reportedly spotted a “hidden Mickey” in the most unexpected place—teardrops on her divorce papers.
“I barely had time to process that Chad was officially leaving me before I saw it—three perfect circles,” Pines said, marveling at the symbol as she dabbed her cheeks. “It was almost like Disney was telling me that magic exists out there somewhere, even in the darkest of times.”
“Her obsession with what should be an organization for kids is getting way out of hand,” said her sister, Frances. “I mean, she’s going on 45, and this whole divorce happened because she said Chad wasn’t giving her ‘character meet-and-greet energy,’ whatever that’s supposed to mean.”
“She’s finding these things everywhere,” continued Frances, rolling her eyes. “Last week, she saw Mickey ears in her oatmeal and acted like she’d won the lottery. I mean, she literally screamed ‘THIS IS MY MAGIC MOMENT!’ over three soggy blueberries. And don’t even get me started on the time she ‘found one’ in the mold growing in her walls. She screamed again, but not for the reason someone should in that situation.”
“Just the other day, she told me her coffee foam made a perfect Mickey head,” said a close friend, who admits to only visiting for the free wine Daisy now drinks before noon. “I don’t think she’s even really processed the fact that her marriage is crumbling because she’s too busy spotting Mickeys in household items.”
“I mean, she’s more focused on finding Mickey Mouse than dealing with real life,” muttered Chad angrily as he packed his things, their two kids crying in the background. “It just got to be all too much after she spent our entire retirement savings on a bedazzled Disney castle for the house.”
At press time, Daisy was seen angrily leaving divorce court after they told her they don’t offer FastPasses.
