Students across campus are scratching their heads after a recent email from the University doubled as a cute little game of two truths and a lie. The email, titled “Reopening Plans For Spring 2021 Semester,” notified students that it would present its announcements in the form of the classic party game.
“After much deliberation, analysis, and consultation with experts, we have decided to welcome sophomores back to campus for the Spring 2020 semester,” the cryptic email promised. “Remember, though, this could be the lie!”
“We are also extremely happy to announce that the Blue Room will reopen in late November on a grab-and-go basis,” the Delphic message read. “Though we’d be remiss not to mention that this isn’t necessarily true.”
“We also fully expect campus life to return to normal by Fall 2021, including the resumption of large gatherings and of in-person lectures,” the email continued, keeping students guessing to the very end. “Unless this one’s the fake out.”
At press time, the College announced that they would be sharing future COVID-19 plans via charades.
