Sophomore Tara Sanders is acting like it is completely normal that she refers to her grandpa as Paw-Paw Don-Don Grampa-Doodles.
“Hey guys, quiet down for a second. My Paw-Paw Don-Don Grampa-Doodles is giving me a ring!” said Sanders completely unironically to her friends, seeing nothing wrong with that preposterous title for her maternal grandfather. “Oh my God, that is too funny! Paw-Paw Don-Don Grampa-Doodles, you are too much! What are we going to do with you?”
“When am I going to see you next? It has been far too long, Paw-Paw Don-Don Grampa-Doodles,” uttered Sanders to her grandpa, whose real name is simply Arthur. “You’ll be making the trip up north for Christmas, right? You have to! It would not be a holiday season without my Paw-Paw Don-Don Grampa-Doodles.”
“Paw-Paw Don-Don Grampa-Doodles, you would be so proud that I aced my biology midterm last week!” Sanders exclaimed to her grandpa, utterly oblivious to the fact that it is super bizarre she still calls him that at 21. “I am shaping up to be the distinguished biologist that you were. As I told my professor, I truly learned from the best, my Paw-Paw Don-Don Grampa-Doodles."
At press time, Sanders asked if she could say a quick hello to her Meemaw Fifi Nonna Sugar.
