Hopping off RIPTA bus 42 and smoothly transitioning to his long board, witnesses confirm that local commuter Sean Mendoza left his fellow former bus riders far behind.
“He seemed just like the rest of us on the bus,” said RIPTA rider Jackie Shea, who watched Mendoza kick off and speed down Thayer Street before fading into the distance. “It turns out he’s nothing like us. He has a skateboard. The rest of us just have to walk the rest of the way.”
Mendoza reportedly could have been headed to any number of cool locations including a concert, a chill hang-out or a job at a laid-back tech company. Sources confirm that he was probably getting there pretty quickly, definitely faster than anyone else who just got off the bus.
At press time, the former bus riders were staring off into the distance and thinking about getting a skateboard.
