Sophomore James Cranstor’s recent Instagram post is reportedly just a photo of him at night. “I feel like every time he comes up on my feed, it’s another picture of him wearing a solid-colored sweatshirt at nighttime,” said Cranstor’s friend Mary Friedman, examining the photograph of Cranstor on a sidewalk in the dark. “Sometimes, he’s squatting and doing that thing with his hands like he’s praying, but it’s actually meant to seem cool and maybe menacing, even though he just sort of looks like he’s taking a shit. And I can barely see his face, because sometimes he has his hood pulled up, and also because he refuses to share photos of himself taken in anything that could be construed as daylight.” At press time, Cranstor’s Twitter page consisted entirely of Chris Rock retweets.
