Upon trying to log in to his online bank account, local man Richard Harper was dismayed to realize that he had forgotten what a password is. “I know it’s supposed to keep my account safe,” said Harper, struggling to remember if a password was literally a word or if it could be a phrase. “It might actually be a piece of software. I don’t know. Maybe it’s a thing that you only need to know if you’re a computer programmer.” As of press time, Harper was wondering why this always seems to happen to him at the most inconvenient times.
