Reports indicate that networking junior Susan Park is striving to strike a balance between her descriptions of her research as “fascinating” and “incredible.”

“It was such an incredible opportunity,” Park told her conversational partner, carefully tallying the instances of each word in her head. “And our results were just absolutely fascinating.”

“I mean, it was just really incredible how fascinating it was,” she remarked, hoping that she wouldn’t be asked for any level of detail. “At the same time, it was also fascinating how incredible it was. I suppose I could elaborate, but the experience was just too incredible to even put into words, it was really fascinating stuff.”

At press time, Park realized her email draft had way too many exclamation points in it.
