An emerging habit can change the risk of developing a malignant tumor, according to a study released this week by Harvard or MIT.
“For a long time now, it’s been unclear whether this common occurrence increased or decreased the likelihood of developing a cancerous growth, but the emerging data suggest that it is undoubtedly one of the two,” said someone with decent credentials in a paper published in Nature, Science, both or neither. “Or perhaps somewhere in the middle, or further to one of the extremes.”
