"Polo!" Shouts Crazed Man Swimming By Himself In Middle Of The Ocean

Published Friday, December 4th, 2015

Coming up for air with a huge smile on his face, exuberant man Sherman Manlo shouted “Polo!” in response to absolutely no one while swimming alone in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, sources confirm.

“Polo!” shouted Manlo for the 10,000th time since intentionally jumping off of a commercial cruise ship and beginning to play this euphoric game of Marco Polo by himself. “Polo!”

According to helicopter pilot Joanna Rios, Manlo repeatedly ignored the rescue team’s requests to swim toward the deployed rescue ladder, opting instead to swim in circles and shout “Polo!” over and over again like the happiest man on earth.

“Polo!” added the ecstatic man, cracking up after swallowing salt water and entirely unperturbed by his life-threatening situation.

At press time, Manlo was having a total blast shouting “Polo!” while wrapped in a towel in the emergency room and shivering violently from hypothermia.
