Reports indicate that primary source author Thomas Allen has been saying the darndest things. “His diary entries describing life as a factory worker really make you understand the human element of the labor movement,” student Suzie Goldvarg explained. “But don’t get him started on people of color, women, other immigrant groups, religious minorities, religious majorities, or horses.” At press time, students were googling Allen’s outdated slurs.
