In the midst of a coronary bypass surgery, staff at the East Providence Medical Center reported that rad surgeon Wanda Stills was flipping her scalpels like drumsticks.
“She’s the coolest," nurse Julie Vosskey remarked as the scalpels completed a 360 degree spin above the chest cavity. "You should see her flip them behind her back. It’s dope.”
“Sometimes if she’s really feeling it she’ll mime the entire drum part from ‘In The Air Tonight’," continued Vosskey, who explained that Dr. Stills is basically a rockstar in scrubs. "Surgery takes a while to get through these days, but man, is it rad.”
After surgery wrapped up, Stills landed a kickflip on a gurney.
