People Magazine reporter Cassie Robles announced yesterday that, after conducting extensive research and talking with several experts on the topic, she knows exactly what’s hot this spring.
People reader Annie Rice was happy and relieved to hear the news. “It’s been a long road. It’s been a lot of waiting. I think everyone is just happy to know that we have answers.”
“This is a dream for a young reporter,” said Robles. “It’s amazing that I’m the one who gets to tell the world about tinted jean shirts.”
Robles used her hard-earned investigative skills to answer the question that Americans have been asking since post-Christmas sales this year. “I was sent anonymous threats to leave the story alone and I even had to use a fake name to get access to some of this information, but I’m a reporter. It’s my duty to get answers for the public,” said Robles.
“It took a lot of research and the fact-checking was a nightmare,” said Robles. “But it’s important that the People readers trust me when I say that oversized belt buckles are hot this spring and mini backpacks are not.”
“This is what I went to journalism school for,” Robles added. “All that hard work is finally paying off.”
Robles also announced that she is excited about her next assignment. “It’s not an easy job,” said Robles. “But when Kanye West and Kim Kardashian announce the name of their baby, I will be there to get the whole story.”
