Stealing a peek over his shoulder before affixing a fifth ear to a mounted bobcat, sources report that area taxidermist Clark Gallory won’t stop adding extra ears to his creations. “He’s out of control,” said Gallory’s colleague Myranda Bonder, looking on as the taxidermist gleefully glued an elk ear to the back of a sandhill crane. “He thinks that no one will notice, which is crazy, because he’s putting like seven ears on every single animal. Even animals that don’t have ears, like fish and snakes. I don’t know where all the extra ears come from.” At press time, Gallory was gluing a bunch of ears together to form a mega-ear.
