Toyota Executives Unveil Car With Loudest Vroom Capacity Yet

Published Friday, March 7th, 2014

Executives at Toyota Motor Corporation announced in a press conference yesterday that the new Toyota Blare has a vroom capacity of 93, the highest in Toyota’s fleet.

“By increasing the motor’s vroom chamber and adding our new vroom amplifiers we were able to create a car that can go vroom louder than any other car on the market today,” said Toyota chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada. “The Blare sets an industry standard for cars that are very cool and go vroom.”

With a vroom capacity sometimes testing over 100, the Blare is clearly Toyota’s answer to the 2013 Ford Blast, which shocked the industry with vroom scores over 90.

With the Blare, Toyota aims to appeal to younger consumers who often rate vroom highly on their list of considerations when buying a car. “We created a car that, above all else, can go vroom better than any other car on the market,” said Uchiyamada. “We’re confident that young customers will now think of Toyota as the company that reliably makes cars with great vroom.”

Though the Blare scored poorly on most safety tests, the car got high scores on both the Highway Excitement Test and the Lame Old People Disapproval Examination. Uchiyamada added that early testers of the Blare noted it was easy to drive and really awesome for freaking out dumb parents who hate fun.

Uchiyamada also emphasized that the Blare has more than its vroom capacity going for it, saying that it would be at least 10 years before any of the Blare cars went put-put-put.
