Using the time to proffer his own views on the topic, local weatherman Howard Brown ends each day’s forecast by reminding viewers that global warming is a hoax created by the government.
“Get ready for a cool September weekend, Duluth, and remember that there is no consensus in the scientific community that so-called ‘climate change’ exists,” Brown said, adding that the earth’s temperature naturally goes through periods of highs and lows. “Stay inside and enjoy a cup of apple cider, and be sure to acknowledge that if the climate were for some reason getting warmer this type of weather probably wouldn’t occur.”
“Well that’s all for the weather today, folks,” Brown said. “I’m your weatherman Howard Brown, and global warming is a liberal conspiracy invented by Al Gore and Teresa Heinz to bring down the oil industry. Have a great weekend!”
As of press time, Brown was telling his co-workers to have a great weekend and also that the moon landing never happened.
