According to witness reports, white guy Michael Cardiff ’12 sounded like a black guy for a second there. The incident occurred while Cardiff was eating lunch with friends at the Blue Room. “He literally went from zero to Barry White in like an instant,” said Allison Barsky ’12. “All he said was ‘pass the salt,’ but when he said it it was like ‘pass the salt.’ I mean, I can’t even do it.” But perhaps the person most perplexed by the incident is Cardiff himself. “I don’t know what to say,” remarked Cardiff earlier this week. “I just hope I didn’t accidentally offend anyone. This has been a very confusing time for me and my family.”
