According to preliminary reports, that woman carrying her newborn son around like he is a purse is actually kind of rocking it.
The new mother has been turning heads all morning with her 3-month-old son casually slung over her shoulder in a style that passersby have described as “hip,” “sexy” and “possibly abusive.”
“I wouldn’t think it would work on her, but she’s definitely making it work for her figure,” remarked one pedestrian. “That kid is kind of couture.”
Though some have expressed concern for the child’s well being, their worries appear to be overshadowed by a unanimous acknowledgment of the woman’s fashion forward instincts.
“Plus, the fact that they match in skin color and other genetic features is actually really cute,” remarked one woman, standing near the woman who was holding her son as though he were a clutch purse or one of those trendy Prada bags.
She added, "It’s like that kid was made for her.”
Authorities were eventually notified when the woman began storing keys, loose change, and packaged tampons in the child’s mouth.
